Apologies...It's been too long, an award & a strawberry

Hi everyone!

I've been away for awhile due to some computer issues. Late at night around April 10th, our power snapped off while we were in the middle of some program updates. That wasn't so bad - but the second power snap in the middle of the restore about 10 minutes later was. Why is it that you don't make backups until something goes wrong? Our taxes were finished, but not printed or filed. So the first few days were spent getting that done - got it working just in time. Then we found that we had to remove and re-install a few other programs - as there were problems with our dial up Internet. We didn't lose much overall, and things seem to be working better than before.

When I finally got everything restored, I opened up my email to find that I owe a long overdue Thank you to Tracey for giving me a blog award - The Leibster Award. I will make that a separate post if you don't mind.

I did have just enough time to sign up for the next Stitched With Love Exchange. I'm off to choose something for my partner.

Sadly, I haven't been able to stitch or get any finishing done since our computer problem- until today. I'll leave you with this lovely strawberry. It was a freebie from Janie Hubble Designs that she sent out in her final newsletter.
