October 14th...After only 30 minutes because I was walking Macey this am and she spotted 4 deer on the property. She barked and decided to chase them off. Unfortunately the leaves have started to fall and were wet and I slipped and fell. Nothing broken...just very sore.

Macey is doing better since she started taking the allergy med. Her fur has started to grow back and she is more playful. Must be something this time of year that triggers her. She didn't want to wait for the camera to focus.. but I thought I'd share anyhow.

picked up this wip...last seen Maynia 2020... hoping that the time out will bring less frogging.


Sweet is The Journey ©2007 My Big Toe Designs - *Modified Spring Colorway
Fabric: 28ct ivory evenweave
Threads: WDW...I only had 1 of the called for weeks for the spring colorway...so I dug through my DMC..pulled the 62 and 3363 and then went back through my overdyes to come up with Sophie's Pink and Dried Sage.
Stitch Count: 125 x 54, 2 over 1pink & Green; 1 over 1 for the purple.

Third time is a charm...I had to frog twice as each time I started, it was in the wrong place as I had my fabric folded on my Q-snaps instead of cutting it. So only about 30 minutes of stitching shown even though I stitched for 2 hrs.

Weekly update October 4th 2020 - Has It been 22 years already?

October 4th...
I'll probably get my 1/2 hour in later this evening... so I'll share next week. I'm still waffling between a new start (The Drawn Thread - Simply Autumn or Needle Bling Designs Freebie - Carving out Autumn) or picking up my Maynia start   My Big Toe Designs -  Sweet is The Journey.

Mail delivery is still taking much longer than it should.. Especially when delays are built into the delivery timeline.

UPSP tracking showed one of my orders was supposed to arrive on Saturday...nope...tracking shows it's not even in my state yet.
 
Tracking on another package that's coming on Monday (my Colour & Cotton threads of the month)  left Albany -1.5hours away early Saturday am (4:36am.. and it's still in transit to our P.O. ..really???? )

Friday was eye Dr. for Dad as the final check post surgeries. All is good - Dad's eyes have some dryness. so he's going to need some moisture drops for the next few weeks? Next visit is in December.
