Weekly update October 4th 2020 - Has It been 22 years already?

Time for my weekly update.. 

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary -  How time flies... 22 years.

I started with this WIP as I really want to see a finish...

October 1st after 1.5 hrs ...

Backstitched the front of the bridge, fences, rocks and some of the tree and grass

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

October 2nd after 1.0 hours ...

Finished backstitching the tree and grass. All that is left is the maple leaf (top left) and the dark orange french knots in the grass.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

October 3rd after 2 hours and 5 minutes...

 

 

French knots in the grassy area and backstitching on the maple leaf.....Happy dance... A Finish!!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

October 4th...

I'll probably get my 1/2 hour in later this evening... so I'll share next week. I'm still waffling between a new start (The Drawn Thread - Simply Autumn or Needle Bling Designs Freebie - Carving out Autumn) or picking up my Maynia start   My Big Toe Designs -  Sweet is The Journey.

Stash: 

Mail delivery is still taking much longer than it should.. Especially when delays are built into the delivery timeline.

UPSP tracking showed one of my orders was supposed to arrive on Saturday...nope...tracking shows it's not even in my state yet.

 

Tracking on another package that's coming on Monday (my Colour & Cotton threads of the month)  left Albany -1.5hours away early Saturday am (4:36am.. and it's still in transit to our P.O. ..really???? )

Not much progress.. only a few pages...Continued with  David Rosenfelt Who Let the Dog Out?

Other:

Monday was a Dr. visit for DH.. all good.. come back in a year. 

Friday was eye Dr. for Dad as the final check post surgeries. All is good - Dad's eyes have some dryness. so he's going to need some moisture drops for the next few weeks? Next visit is in December.
