I took a break from stitching early this week. I had to clean up some of my buttons and beads that were piling up on the far end of our dining room table. Once the area was neat and clean, I started another seed bead bracelet cuff purchased from the ETSY shop Beadingpatterns2013 that will be finished as a bookmark.I'm not as far along as I would have liked... about 40% completed. My thread knotted and I struggled with it... finally cut it and had to weave in a new length... but I wasn't paying attention because I started to unweave it and it was zipping apart.. ugh.. guess I was too tired that night.

I found some lovely Anne Stokes artwork that are diamond paintings on 2 different websites.. so want to see if it's something that I will like before placing my order.
I also spent some time adding laminate to some paper for bookmarks..
since I'll be bringing a book and cross stitch kit with me to dad's surgery. I'll have to stay in my car for the 3+hour duration each time.
Reading:
Finished reading David Rosenfelt's Dog Tags and One Dog Night
Other:
Took Mom for a haircut.. first one since last fall.
Dad had his testing done for his eye surgery.
This coming week is Dad's primary surgery approval, then my dentist for a long overdue visit: to replace a filling & get my 6 month cleaning, a day off, and then Dad's pre-surgery Covid test.
Until next time,
Have a wonderful day! Lisa M.
Sounds like a busy week you had. Hope your dad is recovering well. Peyote beading, I'm impressed! You're multi-craftual, as they say! Happy crafting!
